Doctors answer with their own time and their own fee, so how soon you are seen depends on who is available and what they can offer. A request can also expire with no offers at all, and if that happens you are not charged anything.
What one consultation includes, and what it costs
The fee changes with the doctor. What you get for it does not.
- A video appointment with a licensed doctor
- English speaking, at whatever hour you are awake. The doctor takes your history and examines what can be examined on camera.
- A diagnosis and a plan you can act on
- What is most likely happening, what to do about it now, and the specific signs that mean you should be seen in person instead.
- A prescription where it is clinically appropriate
- Emailed to you, and charged separately from 20 GBP. It can only be dispensed in the country where your doctor is licensed. These are electronic prescriptions and some pharmacies cannot accept one, so finding a pharmacy that will is up to you. The pharmacy charges for the medicine itself.
- Seven days of follow up messaging at no extra cost
- With the same doctor, not a shared inbox. Use it if symptoms change or the treatment is not working.
Every clinician on Time Medics is a licensed, English speaking doctor, and every appointment is held by video rather than through a questionnaire and an anonymous approval. They set their own hours and their own fees, which is the reason somebody is available at four in the morning.

Some problems cannot be assessed safely on camera. If that is the case the doctor will say so during the call, explain why, and tell you what to ask for from local care instead.
